| Peter Hart's Masterclass Series - VHS |
|
| Peter Hart is Britain's leading windsurfer trainer. He has established the Royal Yachting Association's funboard training program and produced numerous videos on Windsurfing techniques. He also is a commentator for the PWA's competition television program and writes regularly for Britain's leading magazine, Windsurf. Hart runs clinics in various parts of the world including Tarifa in Spain, Antigua, The British Virgin Islands, and Barbados. And he also competes on the British racing circuit and the International Speed circuit. If Britain had a "Mr. Windsurfing," Peter Hart would be him. His "Masterclass" series of videos aims to find a way around learning "walls." |

The carving jibe is probably one of the most demanding maneuvers in any sport. It demands poise, balance, commitment, agility, reaction, and more. No wonder so many people have problems with it! Peter's video shows you how to overcome the most commonly found faults. By taking you back to basics, and perfecting his own jibe called a "flarve," which is a cross between the flare and carve, Hart will transfer all that you've learned on a longer board into smooth, flowing carves. There's a load of common sense advice on how to get away from that brick wall you're up against.

Comfortably Fast |

|
This could be subtitled "Make Planing Easy." Peter guides you through the first few moments of getting a board to plane easily. Footstrap, mast track, and harness line positions are dealt with as he follows the difference in techniques needed for a long board, medium board (Mistral Screamer), and short board (Mistral Electron). Included is a look at your body stance or posture, which can make a huge difference to early planing. As well as the "how-to's," he also makes sure that you can identify your faults with "how not-to's." The perfect video for the first-time shortboarder.

Speed with Style picks up where Comfortably Fast leaves off. It looks at how the top racers cope with difficult conditions, and still maintain their speed. Fine tuning and more work on your stance, choosing the right equipment for the conditions and setting up for our style of sailing are featured. We also hear from Robby Naish, Nik Baker, Anders Bringdal, and other top racers on what they do. The former Production Board World Speed Champion, Dave White, helps Peter find that extra few knots of speed on the course. The video includes some of the most painful high-speed wipeout sequences ever seen.
