Strap on your seat belt as you watch the worlds best windsurfers, ripping it up in wave and freestyle locations around the globe - from the crystal clear waters of Maui, to the smooth waves of Klitmøller and the ballistic winds of Pozo...going on with the icy waters of Sylt and Cape Town and to the latest insanity on Maui in 2005.
The last two years SynVision followed the best windsurfers around the world, as they battled it out in competitions and freesail sessions alike.
SPAM starts with an intro to the journey, before taking you to Maui for all the 2004 action and the NeilPryde photo shoot. Among the highlights are Jason Polakows giant one handed tweaked out aerial and Kauli Seadis wave riding flow.
Then we are off to Gran Canaria and all the wave and freestyle action of the 2004 PWA world cup. You will be stunned by Ricardo Campellos impressing tabletop forwards and the insane doubles by Volwater and Jensen.
Continuing to Sylt which starts off with an interview of Nik Baker and Jason Polakow. Watch the riders in the dumpy shore break and Scott McKershers 2004 wave victory. We round the Sylt part off with Nik and Jason talking about previous events and Sylt in general.
Then we take you north, to the Danish fishing village of Klitmøller and the Soul Wave event. The 2004 Soul Wave event saw some of the best conditions in Denmark that year, from insane 50 knots winds and mast high waves to logo high glassy waves and off shore 20 knot winds. Watch local boy Mads Bjørnås stylish one-handed forwards and Andy Wolfs backside riding. This part goes into an interview with Australian Greg Grubby Allaway where he talks about his trip to Klitmøller, the conditions and life as a pro.
We remain in Klitmøller for a chilling freesailing session to the tunes of Echobelly. The footage includes highlights like Grubbys powerful wave riding, Vogets high Pushloops and Jonas Ceballos very (and we mean very) high backloops and backside360, finishing off with a special musical performance. This is followed by a short surfing sequence from bunkers and an interview with Klitmøller local Robert Sand who talks about the conditions.
The last Danish chapter includes Robert Sand tweaking his aerials as he shows how to sail Klitmøller. And Jonas Ceballos continues to impress with the highest backloops ever seen in Denmark.
Then we go south, way south, to Cape Town, South Africa where two chapters take you to all the impressive spots in the Cape Town area. Julien Taboulet entertains us with some wave riding at cape point and Voget disturbs the air traffic with his backloops.
We end up back on Maui for the latest competition and photo shoot action. We follow the 2005 PWA Hawaii Pro as all the world's best windsurfers battle it out at the famous Ho'okipa beach park.
A total of 3 chapters, all mixed with some very nice water shots, highlights being Josh Angulos sick wave riding, including wave 360´s and one-handed aerials in his usual style. Kauli Seadis flaka wave rides and Levi Sivers unbelievable goiter, maybe the best ever caught on tape. The Maui part is combined with a stylish freestyle session by Dutch sailor Kevin Mervissen.
The main part finishes with an insane mix of all the crashes we recorded. Don´t miss out on the indoor sailors who struggle to stay in the pool and crash into the photographers
