No truer words have been written about the description of this new film by legendary surf photographer John Bilderback and his wife Alexis. They scoured Western Australia, Indonesia, Tahiti, Cape Hatteras, and Hawaii for more than a year with some of the best kitesurfers in the world. The new DVD Lines is the result and did they ever deliver the goods. This is by far the most progressive and entertaining surf kiting footage ever.
Kiting with surfboards is certainly getting a lot of coverage in the magazines lately and this video finally puts it all right in your living room. Kiting in the surf has come of age. The cast of characters are all in it for the love of kiting with no attitude present at all. Hooked, unhooked, strapped, unstrapped, it's all good. And of course the locations are world-class, with the most legit tube rides of all time in Indo. But it's not all waves as John and Alexis covered the epic Real Watersports Triple S (Surf, Slicks, and Sliders) event from 2007 in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. This is the best non-event event in the world and everyone just rips their brains out.
