The big day.

More of the big day.

This is Daddy being a little silly. Notice the Hickman catheter on his chest. Spencer and Daddy were line buddies. Now the nurses are giving 2 simultaneous GCSF shots to stimulate white cell growth for the next morning's pheresis treatment - for donating white cells (granulocytes) to Spencer. It really wasn't that bad.

June 3, 2004 - D Day (discharge day). Spencer all ready to go, day 29 post transplant.

Confetti parade for Spencer's discharge - 6/3/04.

More parade - 6/3/04

He was looking forward to his parade for days but doesn't seem to know what to make of it once it happens. 6/3/04

Dr Prasad and Spencer's primary nurse Andria on D-Day. They are the best. 6/3/04
